What we are

Mortgage Well is a collection of mortgage calculators and plain-English guides. We show every assumption we use and let you adjust them. Numbers are computed with the same standard formulas a lender uses, but everything you see here is illustrative only.

What we are not

• We are not a lender, broker, or financial advisor.
• We do not produce official Loan Estimates or Closing Disclosures.
• We do not collect Social Security numbers, credit reports, or applications.
• We do not sell user-entered financial inputs.

How we make money

Mortgage Well is free to use. We may run advertising, affiliate links, or partner integrations to support the site; when we do, we'll disclose them clearly on this page and on every page where they apply. Calculator math, assumptions, and editorial recommendations stay independent of any sponsorship or ad placement.
